THE BRIEF
MacauCentral (澳門指南) is a comprehensive guide for living, business, and tourism in Macau. The application offers a wide range of information, including local business listings, travel tips, and exclusive coupons for various services and products. It is a popular resource for both residents and visitors looking to explore Macau’s food, entertainment, and lifestyle options.
THE CHALLENGE
Macau Central is an application that includes Joomla CMS site, iOS & Android applications & App Builder. The client already had a Joomla CMS site & they want to develop the mobile app versions that connect to CMS site to improve user experiences.
The mobile apps are used by the customers. They also want to have an app builder to customize the mobile app versions without the new native builds.
THE SOLUTION
Mobile apps have been built by using Ionic / Angular technology that connect to Joomla CMS database via APIs. APIs are developed by using Laravel.
The App Builder is used to customize the layouts, configs, managing the pages,… It has a “preview” feature that allows administrator or editor can see the new changes on the simulators before publishing to the live apps.
App Builder it is built towards “White Label App”. A packed application includes 1 Joomla CMS site, 1 APIs system, the mobile apps, App Builder can manage many packed applications.
